Dive into this refreshing dish that not only satisfies your taste buds but also helps keep you hydrated.


  • 240 grams tempeh, cubed

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari

  • 1 tablespoon mirin

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 tablespoon of your preferred cooking oil

15 minutes

4 servings


  1. Mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.

  2. Heat your preferred cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauteed the cubed tempeh until golden brown.

  3. Add the sauce to the skillet with the tempeh. Simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the tempeh. (Optional: Make extra sauce to serve over the assembled bowl.)

  4. Assemble the bowl with your favorite raw vegetables, and tempeh. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
