INGREDIENTS

240 grams tempeh, cubed

2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari

1 tablespoon mirin

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon of your preferred cooking oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.

Heat your preferred cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauteed the cubed tempeh until golden brown.

Add the sauce to the skillet with the tempeh. Simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the tempeh. (Optional: Make extra sauce to serve over the assembled bowl.)

Assemble the bowl with your favorite raw vegetables, and tempeh. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
