This super-quick and easy marinated tempeh with spicy ginger teriyaki sauce is perfect for busy weeks—just pop it in the air fryer and pack it in a Japanese lunch box with rice and veggies.
INGREDIENTS

1 Block of Noble Bean tempeh (240g)

2 Tbsp spicy ginger teriyaki sauce from The Ginger People brand
-
Cooked rice
-
Cooked vegetables of your choice
15 minutes + marinating time
2-3 servings
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Slice the tempeh into desired shape (e.g., strips or cubes).
2. In a bowl add the sauce to the tempeh. Toss the sliced tempeh in the sauce and let it marinate for 1 hour.
3. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Place the tempeh in a single layer in the air fryer basket and pour any remaining sauce on top. Cook for approx 10 min, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
4. Assemble your Bento box with the tempeh, cooked rice and vegetables.
