1 block Noble Bean tempeh (240g), cut into 4 strips (about hot dog-sized)

2 tbsp tamari

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp maple syrup

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

Black pepper, to taste
To serve:

4 hot dog buns

Optional toppings: mustard, sauerkraut, pickles, ketchup, jalapeños

INSTRUCTIONS

Marinate the tempeh: In a shallow dish, whisk together tamari, olive oil, maple syrup, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Add the tempeh strips and marinate for at least 15–30 minutes. -
Grill the tempeh: Lightly oil the grill to prevent sticking.
Grill the marinated tempeh strips over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden with light grill marks. -
Toast the buns (optional): Place hot dog buns cut side down on the grill for 1–2 minutes until lightly toasted.

Assemble: Add a grilled tempeh strip to each bun. Top with your favorite topping and condiments.
