

This innovative twist on a classic pizza is packed with protein-rich tempeh, and a blend of aromatic herbs.
INGREDIENTS

240 grams of tempeh, cut into small cubes

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon of salt (or to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the tempeh into small, bite-sized cubes. This will allow them to cook evenly and better absorb the marinade.

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and the dried oregano. Mix well.

Add the cubed tempeh to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes, or longer if time allows, to enhance the flavors.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated tempeh cubes and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Once cooked, set aside the tempeh cubes until you are ready to assemble your pizza. Tip: Could be tossed in a salad as well.
